~ I don’t know… ~

– “I am human.”
– “I don’t know everything.”

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
   To him belongs eternal praise.

— Psalm 111:10 (NIV) —

This post doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere… but I’ll leave it here, it case it means something, to someone… ^_^

“Insane” requests from a loving Jesus….

Your “crazy” Christian here today to pass on an “insane” request from our Lord and Savior. A reminder of how far we have to go to follow in the footsteps of Jesus… and how far away we are from the ways of this world. Yes, I’m feeling a little schizo today… *chuckles*

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”
Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times
(Or seventy times seven) …”

— Matthew 18:21-22 (NIV) —

Here’s a little poem that was inspired by this verse. God bless and keep you guys. ^.^

~Setting An Example~
(WWJD?)

Wounds that don’t bleed,
Scars that don’t show,
But I cannot help but forgive.
Seventy-seven? or was it Seventy times seven?*
Seeking to forgive as God forgives you.
Seeking to love as God loves.

*Matthew 18:21

    RYN (Reply to Your Note):

“only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” This doesn’t say anything about going through Jesus. Father is referring to God, so if I follow the words of God, does that mean I will go to Heaven without going through Jesus?  In my perspective, Jesus is a prophet (as refer to son of God in the bible)… He advocates God’s words and lesson.

“’Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ “  Hmm? What does this mean really? “Lord,” does lord associated with God or Jesus. “Your name” is this God’s name or Jesus’s name? When I think of Jesus, I associate him with Christianity belief. When I think of God, I don’t think of religious, but his words and lesson (virtue, faith, life lesson, etc…).

“everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.”  First off, I know that no one do exactly what God expect from us every single day. Some of God’s words are difficult to practice due to living in this society and accepting this society. Our soul is not easily purified. We are only human and do make mistake. We do have sins (doubt, fears… etc).  Some of us do our best to follow his words… even so, is ‘doing our best’ good enough for God?

  3. Vegito4 says:

Yup… I know all about forgive… been through that… and you’ll will find inner peace. It’s a better way to live, without holding grudges.

  4. Vegito4 says:

Thought… Now, we are suppose to forgive people unlimit times. The thing is… What if this person shoot you in the heart, would you still forgive him/her on your death bed?… Jesus did… he died for our sins… Most of us wouldn’t, as human being, do u think you would?

  5. Forgiveness…The most powerful way to resolve a situation…it almost feel like you are lifting one big sin off your chest.  Forgiveness also allows you to form a tender heart for others; no matter how many backlashes they give you….forgiving and loving them just like Jesus would redirect the problem into a positive one.

Always learn something on your xanga….very cool! Praise God!

  7. Vegito4 says:

No offense taken… … Remember, Chirstianity like other religions… the only to God/Heaven is though their belief. Each has their own belief… which one is right? No one really know…

Therefore, I choose to believe the “goodness in mankind,” which will be the symbol of my God. I believe in Jesus teaching, and I’m also open to other teaching as long as it is filled with virtue. God can take many forms.
