Goodbye…
It’s strange, but I’ve decided I dislike it when people say “Goodbye”. It seems so final. Like we will never meet again. I like it better when people say “See ya later” or “Good evening”…
In some ways… goodbye reminds me of death. Am I morbid or what… I’ve never had to say goodbye to anyone. I do know of one friend who died about a year ago, but I haven’t visited her grave to say my farewells. How would I even start?
I love saying hello… and hi. But parting is so … sucky. So next time, just say… TTYL… or Good day… or good evening.

It’s rare that I do say Goodbye. I usually say something like “Have a good night/day” or “God bless ya”. Have you ever listened to a song called “Goodbyes aren’t forever” by the Williamsons? Great song, it talks about how we’ll see each other again when Christ returns.
So, what would you rather have someone say to you…Bye!…or…GoodBye! I guess it would all depend on the tone of voice. Even if both versions were in a friendly, it would still sound as if we were to part and miss each other for a period of time. I agree that wishing someone a great evening/day doesn’t sound so sad.
So remember the next time when someone asks you to take them out to an expensive place…you know the place…! hahahaha…I know, I’m BAD! I felt silly after posting that so I depublicized it. I do appreciate your comment though. :cheekygrin: God bless you brother!

I feel the same way! I was just thinking about that a few minutes ago in fact – how I dislike saying goodbye. That’s a sobering song ~ When the toast has burned and all the milk has turned… ~

berocca’s a simply an added boost of vitamin c and other good stuff. quite an effective alternative to multivitamins, as i find multi v’s too hard to swallow – paranoia that they might get stuck in my oesophagus (check spelling for that, i could be wrong). lp
