== Something that made me chuckle, then go hmm ==

Then the LORD said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were already old and well-advanced in years, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my master is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and says, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son.”

Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.”

But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”

Genesis 18:10-15 (NIV)

Seriously, this lady was caught red-handed. By God. I found myself thinking… SnaGGeD! kinda like watching police arresting someone, but not quite… then I thought… I do this stuff sometimes too. >_<

== A true blessing I gleaned from Rubie077‘s xanga ==

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

~ Except that I don’t believe in final goodbyes… just a party beyond imagination that will never end… HEAVEN! ~

  2. Wangnation says:

i would hate to be caught like that… and even as i write this, i can remember a few times when i’ve been there.  man…

by the way, why do your eprops and smileys have to keep movin’ around?  give ’em some rest, man !  hahaha~

  3. Gleefully says:

I leaked a nervous laugh once when talking to my client and he bit my head off for that. After that, I made sure I only laughed when I was intoxicated, so that I have a valid excuse. 😉

  4. RedRosesrr says:

I know right? think back to Adam and Eve…denial and lying…so sad..part of our genetic makeup :p…even when it’s a lost cause b/c God knows it all :p

  5. Mabeleaf says:

put a pic up of yourself so i can see an old head. =p

  6. Exit39 says:

Sarah had faith that God exists, but it’s funny how she didn’t believe in God’s capabilities..and have faith in what He had said.  She lied right in His presence.  Didn’t she know that God is always amongst us everywhere we go..through every second?

  7. Great point. The thing is it happens all the time today as well. God shines His light on an area of our life and says that is not pleasing to me and we try to justify it. It does make you think for sure…. :neko:

    God Bless
