~ Fools… ~

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.

— 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 (NIV) —

Intelligence cannot work against God. Neither can wisdom. The world cannot and will not prevail against God. Some times people demand a sign or a miracle from God or some sort of worldy wisdom from God in order to believe in Him. Instead, God brings salvation by the message of the cross: God comming down, becoming flesh, and dying for our sins. Even if God is being foolish, man’s wisdom cannot prevail. Even where God has weakness, man’s strength will not prevail. Where man and God conflict, God wins. Get it? ^_^

Signed,

Just some fool…

Thank you, God, for such foolishness… for in Your foolishness there is hope… even in man’s greatest wisdom… no hope can be found… In Jesus’ name, Amen.

god will lead us to the right path…

  2. ChaSeiwBow says:

His ways are not our ways. God just existing on a higher plan of living

  3. Vegito4 says:

    RYN:

So what do we take with us in the afterlife? No one really know the answer to that question. Those that had died, and said to had come back are told to always be “nice” to others.

I also believe that when we die, the memories of the time we shared on earth will not be forgotten. Therefore, memories are golden.

Why did God create the Universe? Is it to tamper with humainity for his/her amusement? Yes, we come in with nothing and we leave with nothing. While on earth, each of us choose to play the role that suits us.

  4. Vegito4 says:

What did u do with this site? Your background conflicts with your foreground. It’s so hard to read unless you highlight the foreground.

  5. Vegito4 says:

Why would god be weaken or why would god be foolish? That doesn’t make sense. God wouldn’t push humanity unless humanity has done horrible deeds and lose faith in god.

  6. Vegito4 says:

What I saw was ‘fortune city’ on the background. Not now but earlier today.

Yea, we believe to have a soul… What will the soul carries when we are at the gate of heaven? No one really know this answer.

Any man who attempt to become god is a fool. Any man who wish to prove god wrong is a fool. “God is all knowing”… By the way, how would anyone prove God wrong?

  7. Vegito4 says:

“Instead, God brings salvation by the message of the cross: God comming down, becoming flesh, and dying for our sins.” I thought you said that Jesus is God’s son… How come you’re using Jesus and God interchangeably?

  8. Vegito4 says:

“Some times people demand a sign or a miracle from God or some sort of worldy wisdom from God in order to believe in Him.”

Are you trying to say that you follow a path without proof? If someone told you that he was your lost brother, would you believe him without consulting with anyone? In this world, truth is proven and trust is gained.

  9. Vegito4 says:

“People live their lives the way they want to live and they ignore God’s words…. that is how some “proves” God wrong.”  Living the way they are living is not proving God wrong… It just means that the people are misled… they live the best way the know how. Therefore, they need proof. Without such proof, do you think people will follow just because they are told to follow?

Are you trying to say that people are trying to prove God wrong because they don’t follow the Christian belief because it is the only way?  That is not necessarily true. Do you even know how they were bought up? Do you know how they have been mistreated? Do you even try to understand why they choose to live the way they do?  Before one can say that he/she are living the wrong way, one have to first understand their past and understand why they choose to live their life the way.

No one can ever prove God wrong because he/she is “all knowing” and created this universe. No man can ever prove God wrong that is the truth. If God doesn’t see humanity fitting, God can create another flood and start all over again.

What comes down to it is that people don’t know what to believe because there are so many different religions and way of living. How do you prove to someone that your religion is the correct one? That is really the question here.

Remember there are many people in different religion whom has given up everything just go be with God. Just as the Monk in Buddhism, they took the oath to live with nature without harming any creature, including man. Yet they follow God, but they are not Christian.

As Ghandi said,”All religions are true, only badly translated.”

  10. Vegito4 says:

    Ha256,

You keep saying “God said so,” but the only God is your Christian God… Why do you persist that your God is the only God?

“Jesus said: ‘Follow me…’” then you are assuming that Christianity is the correct religion to follow… It is because you choose to follow it… Don’t you think other religions want others to follow their religion too?

One of the things we fear is to live this life follow wrong path. We refuse to admit something that can be wrong… It is devastating when we find out that our entire lifestyle is completely false … I don’t know what I’m doing is completely right either, but I choose to live the way best way I know how, my belief in virtue… God to me equal virtue…

What the??? You’re trying to hard to prove something… hehe. Ghadi statement isn’t logical mathematic to be prove… It is an express that can simply be understood. Ghadi is simply stating that as long as you have God in your heart, then it should not matter what religion you follow. Then again, he doesn’t really know his statement is true either… I think you’re trying too hard…

When we talk about God, we only ASSUME it to be true… Only God really know the truth… Don’t even get me started on others who don’t believe in God.

I know your purpose is to follow God as a Christian… some do and some don’t… that’s why we live “the best way we know how.” Don’t try to interject God into everything; no one is saying that Christianity is the wrong way to live…
