I’ve been gnawing on this for about a month w/o being able to come up with a clear concise idea of what this means… Maybe because I’ve been feeling like a Pharisee. Any thoughts?

usually I’d hae some sort of comment, but I’m exhausted and my brain’s still asleep, sorry :(… but it IS an interesting passage and I always wonder, does it mean that GOD wants to be able to show us  mercy instead of having us need to make sacrifices? or our actions as man need to be tempered with mercy not sacrifices? all too confusing, brain’s not happy with me for the semi-rousing, so back to bed it goes :p
