1 Corinthians 7:36-38 (New International Version)

36If anyone thinks he is acting improperly toward the virgin he is engaged to, and if she is getting along in years and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married. 37But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin – this man also does the right thing. 38So then, he who marries the virgin does right, but he who does not marry her does even better.

Hey man, I think these three verses are saying that you have choice, where either one of the two has no moral consequences (or either one of the choices are cool with God). So what would you wanna do? Be horny and marry the virgin or be some lifelong virgin yourself?

  2. kinnykin says:

Lifelong virgin? Is that what you choose to be? You always seem to bring God into this subject matter and it almost seem like you are afraid of making this particular discision on your own. So do you just want someone else to make that discision for you?
As for me, I’ll just admit that I am a horny bastard and I will choose to marry the virgin if the circumstances are right.

good luck, my friend…I’m praying for you … *hugs*

  4. kinnykin says:

Ah, good choice man. You are still young.

  5. kinnykin sure has alot to say on this subject. Ha256, if this is your decision now, then praise the Lord. But always be open to who the Lord places in your life.

It doesn’t have to be. My dad wasn’t a Christian when he met my mom, but he converted when they got married. If she had been narrow-minded, no one would have been saved.
