==The Instant Fix==
We are always looking for that instant fix. That one thing that will make everything ok. A girlfriend. A boyfriend. A best friend. True Love. Prozac. Atkins. South Beach. A fling. Hitting the lottery. BMW. Lexus. Bling-bling. Ramen. McDonalds. KFC’s. Malls. demanding-not-grateful Prayer. Cell Phones. Prada. Ben & Jerry’s. Godiva.
Keep looking to satisfy yourself with material things… all you’ll find is emptiness. Ironic how someone can have everything and nothing at the same time.
This post was inspired by the following pop-a-pill twist to a familiar psalm:
“Yea, though I crawl from the valley of the shadow of upper respiratory infection, I will fear no phlegm, for the DayQuil is with me. Thy dextramethorphan and thy pseudoephedrine, they comfort me. Surely, non-drowsy stuffy-head sore-throat coughing aching fever relief shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of Vicks Mentholated Cough Drops forever. Amen.”

Mixing Faith and History, my butt !

Yeah, one can have extreme materialism, but without Jesus, it’s all for not.

Been pushing the Holy Spirit away for some time now. But He never leaves me alone. I don’t know what’s going on with me, hehe. Pray for me. =)
